Then three senior artists talk about their work, what it means to them, and about being honored with awards by the State of New Jersey. (This year was one of the most successful ever for our senior artists at the state level.)

Hudson County Community College (HCCC) is launching a new "Holz Technik Academy," a joint degree and apprenticeship program in Advanced Manufacturing with Eastern Millwork Incorporated, an industry leader in custom and high-end automated woodwork manufacturing and installation based in Jersey City. Lori Margolin, Dean of Continuing Education and Workforce Development for HCCC, and Andrew Campbell, President of Eastern Millwork, describe how this innovative partnership will work and how it could be a model for local workforce development in the future.
